Can someone tell me what kind of GemStone this is, it's over 108 yrs. old?
I have a Pendant that my great grandmother gave to me 20 years ago. It is atleast 108 years old. I have pictures I could send someone via email of the pendant. I thought it was Jade, but I haven't a clue. It is light green,1", no chips or flaws, it has a gold design of cranes in gold that sits on top of the pendant. I'm clueless, but I no it ia very valueable. Please help. I am disabled with 3 children and need to know about this gemtsone. Thanks you so much~Shanan
I would go to a jewlers, but I am disabled after a car accident and can't drive. MY husband is in the Army & away, so I can only find out online.

Thanks =} The stone is Heavy and Cold. The gold is real, because my grandmother was telling me someone in Burma made it special for her. I just cant recall the stone she said it was. I feel ignorant, sorry.
It's a beautiful pendant. There are two different front views and one back view is that right? Are there any markings/stamps on the metal at all? They could be very hard to find (the bail is always a good spot) and very tiny in size. Best would be to look the pendant over with a 10x magnifier. The 'stone' could be anything I am afraid. Does it feel cold like a stone and has the appropriate weight? It could be porcelain (wedgewood) as well. Unless the metal is real gold, the stone won't be very valuable either in my opinion.
