How do they make a clear quartz crystal faceted gem?
Just wondering because I bought a necklace, but now I'm wondering if it is better to just buy the natural rock on his own unheated and untreated, and i dont know about this stuff
You can adhere it along the crystal planes, which is what makes the facets. Then they polish with different discs and diamond pastes to make really clear and beautiful. I would buy one from someone, experts with machines are much better / faster than you would, unless You like to experiment and DIY
